On this year's International Tourist Guides Day, I shout out to all the great guides that have hosted my guests and I, over the years. From city tours, to museum visits, to canoe and boat safaris on the Kafue/Chobe/Zambezi Rivers, to motorbiking in the mountains of Gurue Mozambique, to village tours at Nkhotakota in Malawi, to camping in the middle of nowhere, to bird watching, to game drives and walking safaris, to history and culture tours, to island tours on Zanzibar and Ilha de Mozambique, and so many more...these tours wouldn't have happened without these guides and the camps/lodges/operators that employ, contract or provide a base for them. Here's to another year of great experiences led by great guides!
